The VISTA ABC kit include a set of premium surgical tunnel elevators designed for vestibular access, applied for soft tissue and bone augmentation in a variety of situations.
General design features:
- Heavy instruments reduce micro-tremors, improving operator stability.
- The ergonomic design of the “Control Grip” prevents sliding fingers during application of force in tunnel elevation.
- The shank angles allow access to various anatomic locations around curvatures of the jaws.
- Instruments are uniquely designed to approach gingival margin or alveolar crest from vestibular access.
- The terminal curvature in the tips encourage contact with bone to avoid puncturing the mucosa, as instruments are advanced inside the tunnel.
- The tips are square with rounded edges for efficient tunnel elevation
- The sharpness of the edges facilitate detachment of periosteum from bone.
- The black color of the shanks provide a contrast to visualize the instruments within the tunnel.
General application of the instruments:
- The A instruments (A-1 and A-2) are intended for full-thickness dissection, beginning from a vestibular incision to create a tunnel in the vestibular region.
- The B instruments (B-1 and B-2) are used to extend the tunnel from the vestibulum to the gingival margin or the crest of an edentulous ridge.
- The C instruments (C-1 and C-2) are papilla elevators that are designed to dissect a full-thickness tunnel under papillae from an apical direction.
